François

received his Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Fachhochschule Köln (Germany) while working as a translator and news speaker at Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcasting station. Upon returning to France in 1995, he set up his own business and first turned towards literary translation (Father of Frankenstein, Christopher Bram, 1995, Privileged Conversation, Evan Hunter, 1996, Gladly the Cross-Eyed Bear, Ed McBain, 1996) before specializing in IT, localization and telecommunications. His clients are companies from the Sophia-Antipolis Science Park as well as national and international firms. François also diversified in other subject matters, such as banking & finance, automatisms & engineering, and EU reports. With Sophie and Corine, he founded Lingualis in 2003.
